This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our math classroom, supplies such as pencils, markers, calculators, and more are used daily. Throughout the school year students keep their own individual notebook to record notes on new math content taught and work at the various whiteboards in groups each week. Both of these activities require students to have access to an abundance of writing supplies and calculators. All of the daily math supplies tend to go quickly in my classroom as students are always excited to purchase them from our class store when they earn CARE cash. Having them in stock when we return from winter break will ensure my students are ready to learn and thrive.

These supplies are essential to student's success in a math class and I want to make sure that they are always accessible to all of my students.

Along with supplies for students, our classroom basic supply closet is also in need of a restock of tissue, paper towels, trash bags, and ink for our classroom printer.
