Many of our students love to learn hands-on. These basic classroom items will help our students develop number sense and an understanding of the base ten numeral system.
Students will be able to utilize the linking groups to practice making and breaking a group of ten.
They will use the cubes including ten sticks and hundred block to practice counting, adding, and subtracting within 1,000. They will also be able to use the counters to practice composing and decomposing tens and hundreds when adding and subtracting within 1,000. This will greatly support each student in our K-2 classrooms.
