This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting supplies and a new rug for my ELA classroom to help students be successful when reading and annotating and to give them a space to collaborate and work together. Please help us add classroom supplies to our room to enhance learning and engagement! The supplies include pencils, post-it notes, pens, tape, storage bins, envelopes, pencil sharpeners, and batteries. Additionally, I am hoping to obtain a new rug for my classroom as our current library rug has been in the classroom for years and has been worn down and dirtied up over time.

Learning will be more effective and hands-on with proper supplies and a place for students to collaborate comfortably.

By having basic classroom supplies, students can more effectively engage in reading lessons, collaborate on projects, participate in more hands-on tasks, and utilize technology resources.
