My Students

The students in my biology and Human Anatomy and Physiology classes are a mixture of general ed and special education students. They work together to make sure that every student is included and involved. Most of my students live in a rural area of the county and come from low-income homes.

The students sitting in my classroom make the future a little brighter!

Although many of them face daily obstacles that we could never understand, they come in energetic and ready to learn every day.

My Project

Every year towards the end of the year students are out of the basic necessities, and it really hinders their learning experience. Whether it be pencils, papers or a ripped and broken binder, most are in need of some type of supply.

Having these supplies in the classroom and being readily accessible to them as needed makes all the difference in the world.

They do not need to be embarrassed that their binder is falling apart or they do not have paper, they know they can quietly ask if needed and that I have it to give to them.

I want to see my kids finish this crazy year STRONG and HAPPY and have everything that the need to do their best!
