My Students

Our school is in a large metropolis with many of the same challenges facing other cities this size. As teachers, we're sensitive to the fact that many of our students struggle to get their basic needs met. All students at our school receive free breakfast and lunch. Each year our school has more students who are homeless. Most of our students come to school carrying the heavy load of some kind of significant trauma.

Our class is a self-contained, special education behavior unit.

We have great kids! We just need a little extra help. Our classroom is a safe environment designed to help us focus and learn.

My Project

We have been virtual since March 2020 and are going back to in person learning after spring break.

I am requesting a box of copy paper for my students to use for printing class work.

We print every day and are almost out of paper. The notebooks will be for students to keep track of their work and to write important information. The mechanical pencils will be used for class work. The pens and post it flags will be for students to mark important pages in their books and/or notebooks.
