Basic School Supplies and Manipulatives

Help me give my students their basic school supplies. I am asking for more math manipulatives so each student can have their own personal set.

My Students

I have the most amazing and wonderful special education severe and profound class. My students come from very low income families. Many of my students live in government housing and the only meals they have are the free breakfast and lunch they receive at school. My students come to school in dirty clothes, clothes that don't fit, or what they wore the day before.

My students come to school every day excited to learn reading, math, and life skills.

They are like sponges and I want to provide them with all the tools they will need to be successful.

My Project

Many of my special need students cannot supply their basic school supplies. I am asking for donations to help my class parents out, so they will not be responsible for all the supplies. My students use Kleenex every day.

I am asking for liquid glue and glue sticks that we use to help our fine motor skills.

Dry erase markers are used every day with their binders and dry erase boards. My students use crayons and markers daily all year. We need paint and construction paper for weekly art projects and fine motor activities. White cardstock is used to make games, hands on activities, and visuals. The unifix cubes and teddy bears are used during math. Each student will keep manipulatives in their own school box along with playdoh. Many of the parents have fallen on hard times and I am hoping your generous donations will help our class out.
