it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our school we have had a very tough time acquiring basic school supplies for our students
and ourselves.
This year with hundreds of thousands of dollars in budget cuts I am anticipating an even greater obstacle in accessing basic supplies such as copy paper, dry erase markers, and pencils. Our children come from disadvantaged situations, therefore providing them with these basic supplies will put their families at ease and give the children peace of mind knowing they will always have notebooks, folders and pencils available to them whenever they need.
