I have the most amazing and wonderful Kindergartners. My students come from very low income families. Many of my students live in government housing and the only meals they have are the free breakfast and lunch they receive at school. Many of my students come to school in dirty clothes, clothes that don't fit, or what they wore the day before.
My students need basic hygiene products and basic clothing.
These items will help my students meet their basic needs.
My Project
My students need basic supplies. Many of my students come to school with socks that have holes in them, underwear that is not clean, dirty hair and bodies, and teeth that have not been brushed. I am asking for some basic supplies to help them. When children feel good about themselves, they learn better and have more self confidence. The toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, and shampoo would be given to all everyone of my 27 students. The socks and underwear would be used for students on an as needed bases. For instance if a student had an accident or came to school without socks or with socks with holes in them.
