Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The materials that I have chosen are materials that students need every day in class. We create, design, draw, learn and write using all of these things. Too often, students come to school unprepared and without the needed school supplies. Their pencils have broken and need sharpened their expo markers have dried out, with these supplies we are solving this issue.
A lot of times, students need to share supplies but with the COVID-19-like illnesses still present, having individual supplies will help prevent the spreading of any type of virus and help students succeed.
For many years, I have tried to have things that students need and can borrow, but this year it would be wonderful if they could each have their own personalized school supplies.
