This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In my classes, most students are coming in from lower economic needs and means. It is important for me to make sure that all learning in my class is equitable, and to do that, I need to make sure all students have access to basic needs and materials with a growing classroom library and more student engagement in reading than ever.
Help me give my students consistent access to basic classroom needs such as books, library bins, whiteboard erasers and basic supplies like paper towels, wipes and glue sticks, to help level the playing field in their education.
With students not needing to worry about basics like glue sticks or where they can get their next book, we can help close the gaps and increase learning engagement.
