This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The BIHS Boutique is a completely free "store" located in the basement of our school and focused on ensuring our neediest students and their families have access to food, clothing, and other basic necessities. While our boutique continues to be graciously filled donations of many lightly used items, some needs must be met through purchasing products new.
These undergarments and socks will provide our students with the much needed personal items that they may be lacking due to their current living situations.
Through your help, we can ensure our students have access to bras, underwear, undershirts, and socks. These items that so many of us take for granted can be the difference between a student feeling confident coming to school or not---it's that simple. Every student deserves the chance to have these basic needs met so they can feel their best when they walk into the classroom.
