I am going to be a first year teacher starting in August! I am learning about what style of organization works for me and what tools of engagement work for my students! My list contains some of the basics such as whiteboards, markers, erasers, books, and more!
My goal is to provide some of the basic needs in my classroom to take away the financial stress parents in my area encounter!
I also want my classroom to feel like a safe place where they know they can comfortably come to me and say "I don't have xyz," and know I will have it for them!
My students are special to me because they are my first class! These are the kids I will get to tell stories about for years: how they helped me grow, become a better teacher and supporter, and the impact we made on each others lives!
