My Project
My classroom is needing hands on materials to better learn our addition and subtraction facts. Knowing these basic facts is vital as they continue through their schooling. I have also included some calming tools for some of my students who struggle to regulate their emotions.
Noise canceling headphones and weighted animals will help students who are overwhelmed.
First grade is an exciting time and there is a lot of collaboration happening. This can be difficult and overwhelming for some students. These tools will help them feel more comfortable in our classroom.
