This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

"Are we going to learn about World War II?" "Are we going to learn science this year?" "What kind of art projects are we going to do?" These are only some of the questions my students this year asked me within the first few days of school.

My class is full of curious and creative individuals who are trying their very best to learn at home on their own without my immediate support and help.

The amazing thing is that this pandemic does not stop their excitement when assigned a new math game, or when listening to a read aloud, or during our daily Zoom meetings, and I do not want their excitement to die out anytime soon.

My Project

"My dry erase marker ran out of ink." "I don't have a notebook to write/draw in at home." "I'm just going to use this paper I found because I don't have paper." I want to make sure my students have what they need and deserve to be successful learners in my classroom.

These materials will help them be successful and enjoy being successful at home.

My class likes to use the post-it notes to jot down notes or use as visuals to add to their notebooks. They also like to use the dry erase markers and pouch to draw visuals and diagrams that help them understand a new math concept.
