Basic Lifesaving First Aid/CPR Training for Students
Help me give my students the opportunity to learn skills needed to provide Lifesaving First Aid/CPR in emergency situations. Students can gain extensive hands on training by using the CPR Manikan kit.
My students come from all types of backgrounds but have one thing in common. They want to be better, they want to better their community by bettering themselves. After learning of a few tragic accidents last school year where effective CPR could've saved the lives of family members of a few students I felt the need to become very intentional in my passionate pursuit to equip students in high school with the skills and knowledge to be of assistance, and in some cases the only certified and effectively trained individual to provide Basic LifeSaving First Aid/CPR to family friends in their community and those they encounter outside of their community. The manikins will serve as the hands-on training for certification however I will need multiple sets as the manikins have a student to manikin ratio so I have created more than one fund for the manikin sets.
This training/certification can be a skill that not only sets them apart from other job applicants if this student chooses to pursue a medical career provided by a Vocational Tech college or the choice to be a caregiver or the choice to enter the work force.
This skill/certification gives the student a sense of pride and responsibility that they are capable of saving a life.
