Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I’m a teacher in a Title 1 first-grade classroom where many of our students come from low-income households. Each day, I strive to create a safe, engaging, and enriching learning environment for my students but this can be difficult without access to even the most basic school supplies.
We are currently in need of essential materials such as pencils, folders, dry-erase markers and boards, wireless mice and writing supplies.
These are items that support daily learning in our classroom. These basic supplies help ensure our students are prepared, focused, and confident in their ability to succeed.
