Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The supplies will be used in our art center, during morning work, and writing in our journals. When doing projects within the classroom it is important to provide our students with resources to let their minds run wild. I also love to have students use their morning sheets within a dry-erase pocket to practice writing their name and numbers. I allow students to use dry-erase markers so that we are not making marks on the actual paper. Since these are markers used every day they often dry out quickly. With new markers, we could continue our morning work.

Journal time!

Journals are used for both writing and drawing. The selected journals are perfect for kindergarten and show off their creativity while working on letter, word, and sentence formation.
