Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am excited to have 25 second graders this school year. This group of students are hardworking and very enthusiastic about learning in class everyday. They especially love kinesthetic and tactile activities. Having such active learners in my classroom, It is very important for them have access to basic supplies we always need in class everyday.

We do a lot of unit projects in 2nd grade and having a good pair of scissors and glue sticks to use will help my students complete cutting and gluing tasks efficiently.

We also laminate most of our phonics and writing materials to save ink and paper and to make them reusable when they use whiteboard markers on them.

Again, having access to basic classroom supplies helps our classroom run smoothly everyday. When students have materials on the ready, they can focus on the learning and completing assignments or projects right away.
