This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My school participates in DEAR - Drop Everything And Read - which gives students free time to choose ANY book they want. This is an amazing chance to spark a love of reading.

In order to make the most of this time, I want books that represent my students, books that show them new worlds, and books that they can't stop talking about!

We also need a book scanner to help keep our classroom library organized.
