My Students
"The day you're willing to veer off the lesson plan, follow a kid's lead, and learn with your students is the day you really become a teacher." -Krissy Venosdale
We have a great group of kindergartners this year, and we would love to take them on the field trip of a life time.
We have a exciting group of 75 kindergartners this year who are ready for a new adventure in learning.
They love to explore and try new things. Most of our students have never had the chance to go on a boat or to the beach. and with this field trip they would get to do both! A trip to Barrier Island would give them the chance to see our science lessons come to life.
My Project
With this field trip, our students would get a chance to go on a boat to Barrier Island. Once they are there, they will have the chance to learn about different wildlife and their habitats. In class, we talk about animals and what they need to survive. With this trip, the students will get to see what we have taught them. They will be able to take what they have learned back to school to create our end-of-unit project where they chose an animal and write a nonfiction book on that animal.
This trip will give our students the experience of seeing and touching different animals in their true habitat.
It will truly be a very exciting trip that they might not have the chance to have otherwise.
