My Project

Hi There, I am requesting a set of barefoot sing-along books, because as I have gotten to know my students, I see that they connect with literature especially when it is paired with music! The barefoot books are highly engaging for my population (preschoolers of mixed ability levels) and will help them to develop a love for books and reading.

I am also wanting to incorporate mindful movement into my group instruction and the yoga books and cards I am requesting will be a great help!

We have practiced yoga with calming music, but really need the visual supports that these books can offer.

I also want to incorporate mindful practices into my classroom as a means of emotionally supporting my students and also teaching coping and self soothing, which are fundamental skills for preschoolers and children of all ages.
