Bandaids for Boo Boo’s/Paper Towels for Cuts and Clean Hands
Help me give my students Bandaids to prevent their scrapes and cuts from damaging instruments and paper towels to wipe their hands after using valve oil and trombone slide grease.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
What makes my students incredibly special is they still want to be in school even if they are sick, have a broken arm or something as simple as a pretty good scrape or a cut.
Just knowing that a simple Bandaid will make the bleeding stop and take the pain away, eases a child’s mind.
Help me to give my students that sense of calm when they get a cut or scrape.
Paper towels will help to stop the bleeding but they will help to get off the trombone slide grease and Vaseline from my students fingers after greasing their corks on woodwind and brass instruments.
