This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am asking for bandages for my school. Several times a day different students request bandages for things that range from small paper cuts to big falls on the playground. Giving a student something so small makes big difference for them. After they are cleaned up and bandage applied they are ready to go back and finish their school day.
Many of my students do not have access to bandages at home.
Having an adequate stock of these at my school will help students keep all their cuts and scraps clean from big to small. This will help them remain in class more and miss less classroom instruction.
