My Students
Our band members are a group of extremely talented and motivated students. My band students comes to school excited to learn and are extremely motivated. It is inspiring to watch the students go through the learning process and become the incredible musicians they end up being.
My students come from a diverse background and add so much to the community and the school environment.
It is a pleasure working with these talented students.

My Project
The band is looking to get a nice set of triangles to use in the band program. The current set have taken quite a beating and do not have a proper set of beaters, a bag, or even a proper triangle clip. The percussion students will benefit from learning correct triangle technique on a proper set of triangles. Triangles are such a common instrument it would not be surprising if these triangles are played at almost every concert the students will perform. It is a small instrument that packs a big punch and the use of the triangles will impact not just the percussion students but the band as a whole.
Please seize the opportunity to help my percussion students become well rounded and properly trained percussionists by helping them get a quality set of triangles.
This addition will help not just the percussion section learn how to play a triangle and how they are supposed to sound but will teach the whole band and will also improve the sound of the whole band within the pieces they are playing.
These items will help the whole band sound better by creating the proper timbre for a triangle. This will allow the concert band and sometimes the jazz band to play a wider range of musical styles with the characteristic sound need to the perform great works of music.
