My Donors Choose project, Bananas For Phonics, aims to bring multiple sets of My First Bananagrams to the hands of beginning readers and writers in my second grade classroom. The My First Bananagrams games will be perfect for small groups of students to play word games as they have fun learning phonics and spelling.
My First Bananagrams will boost students' vocabulary and improve their spelling by encouraging them to play with language!
My First Bananagrams utilize lowercase letters that help children grow a love for word games and wordplay. Bananagrams will promote word formation, vocabulary, and strategic thinking. My First Bananagrams has 80 lower-case letters and 13 dual-letter combo tiles that players use in multiple activities and minigames which focus on developing different skills that are essential for reading, spelling and writing. My First Bananagrams are perfect for pre-readers and readers! My First Bananagrams manipulatives will help my second graders learn about words in a fun, engaging way!
