Help me give my students more footballs and a pair of hockey/soccer goals.
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Emmett's classroom raised $302

My Students
I teach elementary physical education in a culturally diverse and socioeconomically disadvantaged urban neighborhood. I have kids from all walks of life, mostly African-American, Caucasian, and Hispanic.
When I first walked into my equipment closet, I noticed the school was in need of many items.
The school budget is tight and there isn't much left for equipment.
My students come from many types of homes (broken, single parent, raised by relatives and foster children). When they come to my class, I want them to leave our school remembering all of the fun they had in physical education class and how much wonderful equipment they were given the chance to use and knowing that fitness and physical activity is fun. I want to give them experiences they won't get at any other school. I want them to have experiences no other students have had anywhere else.
My Project
My students are in need of new equipment. Through normal wear and tear, our equipment has become worn out and can no longer hold air.
My students need new footballs because they are important in the PE curriculum.
This will allow more practice for smaller groups of students with less down time. Two hockey goals will enhance our soccer games and floor hockey lessons.
My school currently does not have a fund or budget for physical education equipment so I am relying on the generosity of friends, family, neighbors, members of our community and genuine people who love education to help our project become a reality.
