This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I work at a Title I elementary school in Arizona. I teach Physical Education to grades K-5. I have almost 500 students that I see each week. My students learn a range of sports, fitness, and games throughout the year.

My PE classes are designed to keep students moving as much as possible.

I don't want students standing around and waiting to be a part of the action. My goal is to keep these kids motivated and instill in them a love for an active lifestyle.

My Project

My students will be using this equipment as part of our lessons in Physical Education. With limited equipment, students will have to spend time waiting for their turn.

Your donation can make it possible for students to have more time actively working on their skills.

If every child has a ball, I can maximize student engagement and help progress skill levels. Students will have increase the amount of time they have to practice. This will allow for kids to will become more confident and more successful in their activities. This can make kids more excited about being physical activity and be motivated to stay active outside of school.
