it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These books will be a class set of books for my 9th grade English students. I teach 9th grade special education students. The book, the Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, is the prequel book to the Hunger Games which is an amazing book that I have read before with 9th graders. I did however notice that they would watch the movie rather than read the book. Since this book does not have a movie yet I wanted to test this one out. I read the book myself and loved it. It is great for students to learn about literary elements.
This will be a book report that the students will do in the spring semester.
They will be reading and writing a narrative story and relate it to the government system they live in.
