My Project
Students enjoy seeing how things they are learning relate to their everyday life. We can tell them they need to learn Math and ELA, but if they see how they will use it in their everyday lives, they are more invested.
Help me give my students the supplies needed to bake bread.
Not only will they use ELA skills to read the directions and the recipe, but they will also use math with measuring and figuring out how much bread they need to make for their group.
Once we get the mixture made, they will also need to read and follow the instructions for their bread machines.
