This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I would like sets of canvas book bags so that each of my students has a personalized set of books all at their reading level and specific to their interests. First graders need a lot of time to practice reading and a lot of books to choose from. These requested book bags will help me organize book sets for each child to use during reader's workshop time- a dedicated time in which specific reading skills are taught and students have access to reading material at their own level. Thanks for supporting young readers!
