My Project

Our Middle School Students need a Pyle Bluetooth Jukebox to support our Physical Education and Mental Wellness programs. This engaging sound system for our gym and yoga classes, will create an energizing and emotionally supportive environment for students. This jukebox will serve as both a physical education tool and a mental health resource.

Need and Purpose:

In our school community, many students face challenges that impact their ability to stay engaged and motivated.

Incorporating a high-quality jukebox into our daily routines will not only enhance their gym and yoga experience but also create an outlet for emotional expression, connection, and healing.

Student Benefits:

Students will benefit from the jukebox in the following ways:

Physical Engagement: Music will help students stay motivated during workouts, increase participation, and encourage rhythm, coordination, and movement in sports and yoga.

Emotional Wellbeing: Music selections will support relaxation, emotional expression, and stress relief during yoga and cool-down sessions.

Social Connection: Students will have the opportunity to create shared playlists, which fosters a sense of community and ownership over their wellness routines.

Mental Mondays Initiative: Using the Jukebox to Boost Wellness

Mindful Movement Sessions: Soothing instrumental or nature-inspired music will play during guided yoga and stretching routines to help students connect breath to movement and center themselves for the week.

Express Yourself Moments: During cool-down time or SEL reflection sessions, the jukebox will be used as a musical journaling tool—students will reflect on lyrics, rhythms, or beats that align with their emotions, encouraging self-awareness and emotional liter

The Jukebox will be a powerful addition to our gym and yoga classes, helping students move their bodies, lift their spirits, and care for their mental health. We believe that combining physical education with intentional mental wellness moments—powered by music—will transform our students’ learning and overall school experience.
