This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We have a successful music program at our school. We offer strings, band, full orchestra and keyboard classes.
Our school is designated as Title One school.
According to this designation, the school has to offer all instruments, accessories, books at no cost to students. When it comes it accessories, it's very hard for us to continue providing students with replacements of consumable items, such as reeds and such.
My Project
The accessories requested are different according to each instrument. For example, wind players constantly need to replace their broken reeds every few weeks, and even sooner for beginning students. Brass students need mouth pieces to play their instruments, and so on.
Your generous donation will enable the students to use their instruments without interruption.
Few students are able to provide their own accessories, but the majority can't. Your donation will help provide equality when it comes to providing the basic needs for playing an instrument.
