My Project
My students are full of personality, imagination, and a love for stories that feel fun, relatable, and just a little over-the-top. That’s why Babymouse is the perfect fit for our library! With her wild daydreams, hilarious misadventures, and totally relatable struggles (bad hair days, anyone?), Babymouse helps make reading exciting—even for kids who aren’t sure they love books yet.
This graphic novel series by Jennifer Holm and Matthew Holm blends humor, heart, and eye-catching illustrations that support readers at all levels.
Whether my students are new to chapter books or just need a fresh spark to fall in love with reading again, Babymouse delivers.
Not only will these books improve fluency and comprehension, but they’ll also remind my students that it’s okay to be imperfect, to dream big, and to laugh at yourself along the way. These stories open the door for deeper discussions about friendship, perseverance, and growing up—without ever losing their charm or sparkle.
With your support, we can bring this confident, quirky mouse into our classroom and help every reader feel like a star—even on the days when everything goes wrong.
