Help me give my students a sturdy backpack with school supplies for them to carry their educational materials to and from school. They are venturing to new schools where they will need to carry books.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students have had a difficult time adjusting to school life after Covid and now many of them will now venture to their new high schools. I would like my students to have a new backpack which they can carry their supplies and snacks. They can use their notebooks to take notes or to express their ideas, drawings or thoughts about adapting to new places as they adjust to a new campus.
In addition, I want them to feel proud to have a new school item which will help them feel confident with their new backpack in a color they have chosen.They deserve to feel confident and proud and this would also help families who cannot buy new items every year.
I love my students who have blossomed so much after this pandemic and having them carry a sturdy backpack will be a small token of my heart that they can carry around with them.
