Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The backpack rack is going to help us maintain an organized, safe, and fun learning environment. Our classroom is not equipped with proper backpack storage, so we have been storing the children's backpacks outside. However, SoCal weather tends to be unpredictable. Sometimes it is scorching hot, with temperatures above 100 degrees, and sometimes it rains for days!
Therefore, we need a proper way to store backpacks in a way where they are still accessible to the children while keeping them dry, and out of the sun.
My students are special because they are part of a collaborative classroom. My class is made up of neurotypical and atypical children.
