This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our TK classroom, we currently face a significant challenge: our students have nowhere to store their backpacks. This can often lead to clutter and disorganization, making it challenging for our young learners to focus on their activities.
By providing backpack cubbies, we aim to create a more structured and welcoming environment.
It will offer our young learners a structured way to begin their day. Each child will have their own space to store their belongings, promoting a sense of ownership and responsibility. As they learn to store their items in their own cubby, they'll also practice name recognition and learn to manage their own items.
Moreover, these cubbies will serve as a stepping stone in teaching essential life skills. Students will practice hanging up their backpacks and following the daily routines, building their confidence and preparing them for future academic settings.
Your support in funding these backpack cubbies will make a significant difference in our classroom, helping us create a more organized, efficient, and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
