Backing Up, Writing Down and Lunching Up Again!

Help me give my students composition notebooks and puma backpacks with lunch kits.

My Project

I am at an elementary school in North Miami where over 90% of my students are Black or of Hispanic Heritage. My students are underrepresented racially when it comes to school-related performances, tournaments and competitions. in our district and state. Many speak more than two languages and come from Chile, Haiti, and even Brazil.

Our student population has experienced a wave or influx of students who are considered minorities and I have seen many come to school without supplies and even without backpacks.

I am requesting 6 puma backpacks with attached lunch bags for students without. They will be able to carry their school materials and snacks or lunch from home. I am also requesting a set of 8 composition books to place in the backpacks, along with other stationery and supplies I have already bought for them.
