Back To The Future: Part 3

My students need a class set of the book, "If You Lived At The Time Of The American Revolution."

FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Dearybury's classroom raised $207

My Students

My classroom is an active, vibrant, exciting place of learning, where students come to drink deep and leave full of knowledge. Help me to start them on their journey from primary grades to upper elementary with this exciting set of class books that will help us integrate history and into literature.

My students attend a small, inner-city, Title I school in South Carolina.

Our school, while filled with over 70% free and reduced lunch, strives everyday to push our students to new heights! We engage our students with the Arts, wow them with our curriculum, and put their hands on every lesson. They are curious learners ... like little sponges, soaking up every bit of information I can give them. They LOVE history and learning about the world around them. I work overtime trying to go deeper and get more for their wondering minds.

My Project

My students need a class set of the book, "If You Lived At The Time Of The American Revolution," so that I can integrate literature and history. My students love history. We learn it in my classroom through arts integration, miming, singing, dancing, etc. With this set of books, students will be able to read about the events that shaped our nation and create more arts integrated projects that capture their understanding of the material. This is the third of many class sets of history books that I hope to get for my class. The books are full of great illustrations and meet many of our state standards. Thanks to many great sponsors such as Townsend Press, Horace Mann, and Real Simple I already have other class sets. Help me add another set today!

These books will be a crucial part of history and literature integration.

They will help me to give students the extra time they need to explore the past and prepare them for the future! Please help my students be successful by funding this project!
