My Students

The students I teach are between 10th and 12th grade. The students in my class have a clinical diagnosis of severe emotional disturbance. They are in a single classroom all day because they have a hard time interacting with peers and adults.

I am entering my 8th year as an ED teacher, and my students are the most inspirational students I know.

They all have hardships at home. Their lives are filled with poverty, drugs, gangs, and other difficulties. Our school is a career tech high school, and all of our students are being educated to be career and college-ready.

Typically, my students are referred to as the "Bad Students," which is the farthest from the truth. They need someone on their side. In our class,​ we have created that space for our students. Now that they feel comfortable with us, we want to give them the same opportunities as their peers. We believe in them.

My Project

My students work hard every single day, but they are in need of basic and essential school supplies (such as markers, pens, and post it, eraser, cleaner and holder ) to foster daily learning and positive educational growth! They often come to class without the most basic utensils and resources, which are necessary for mastering learning goals.

By assisting us in procuring fundamental school supplies, you can help them complete every project, lesson, activity, and assessment that they need for a successful semester!

These students work extremely hard in school.

It's unfortunate that they cannot afford the basic necessities as their peers. Please help my students reach their maximum potential with basic school supplies that are needed everyday in the classroom.
