This is a quote my students learn the first week of school each year.

It's our mantra and a reminder that we can do anything if we truly put our minds to it. Most importantly, it inspires us to shy away from excuses and focus on solutions.

I work in an inner-city school with 100% of our students receiving free breakfast and lunch. Despite those challenges, my students are excited to work on the many engaging projects I design throughout the school year. This year will not be any different.

My Project

Remote learning has been hard on everyone. My students have been really struggling to deal with trying to use a computer exclusively to learn. Competing against loud backgrounds, technology problems, and low morale has started to take a toll on all of us.

My students need access to assignments that will not require them to use technology to practice certain skills.

The printer will allow me to print and send instructional packets that will be able to be used in place of solely relying on Chromebooks which are quite often unreliable.
