Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are a STEM-based charter school in Naples, Florida with over 74% of our students receiving free or reduced-price lunches. The families we serve really want what is best for their kids and trust me as their teacher to help make those decisions. The students in my classroom are very loving and caring individuals.

My students are passionate, eccentric, beautiful, intelligent, and all-around amazing. When you look into their eyes, you know that they are eager to consume knowledge. These students appreciate each and every day that they spend in the classroom because they know that they are going to use their minds in the most creative and innovative ways possible.

My Project

We are halfway through the school year, and our classroom supplies are running out and or damage to the point where they are difficult to use. Basic school supplies are an everyday need in the classroom. Basic supplies support our classroom’s functionality to maximize learning activities and engagement for all students! I will be able to provide each student their own set of supplies to minimize classroom traffic and maximize time spent on project-based learning activities and instruction.

The dry erase markers, will be used during center time. Two Pocket Paper Folders are for taking papers to and from home.

We need Sharpie Pro Permanent Marker for making anchor chart interest posters. We will use the Origami Paper Double Sided Color paper for STEM projects. Ticonderoga Pencils, #2 Pre-Sharpened Wood Pencils will be used by students daily.

Our pencil sharpener died so we need to replace it with a new Electric Pencil Sharpener.

For all of our board projects we will use Crafty Croc Liquid Chalk Markers, Glow in the Dark Neon Chalk Pens, to give our presentations a pop!

We are completely out of Elmer's Disappearing Purple School Glue,

and a School Pack of Kids Scissors with Anti-Microbial Protection, for all our daily projects.
