This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Do you remember the joys of your elementary music and art class and how excited you got each week when it was your day to go? How about all of the fun instruments you got to play, all of the great performances and fun and messy art creations you made?
My passions are music and children, and by being an elementary music and art teacher, I get to spread my love and joy for music and art with my students.
My Project
My students need a new class sized rug to sit on. We need to replace foam mats that we had previously that are worn out and not in good condition.
We also need a drying rack for our wonderful art projects.
By having a drying rack, students will be able to allow their projects to dry in a timely manner and neat space without taking up every inch of free counter and floor space in our classroom. We also need to refresh our paint supply from previous school years! Every students loves to paint and get a little messy!
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
