Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I can't wait to meet the new faces of my students. It is summer time and I am working hard to get my classroom ready to welcome my new students. It is important to me to have a welcoming environment for my students, I am looking forward to update my classroom with new bulletin boards that are engaging for my students.
My goal is to create a welcoming environment, supply writing journals and add sensory toys to our classroom.
The better than paper will serve as the background to new reading and math bulletin boards in our classroom along with the borders. The writing journals will help us write, read and learn our sight words. The play dough and sensory toys add a sensory way of learning. We use play dough to strengthen our fine motor skills. The caddys will be used to organize supplies at the students' tables. The name plates will serve as a resource to student learning.
It is always exciting to start a new school year. These supplies will help me and my students have an amazing year.
