My Students

My students walk into our classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them each day. I teach 1st graders in the inner city. Most of them live in the projects and do not have many things. I want my students to be excited to come to school each day and want to learn. I want to make their learning experience more exciting and I want them to know I believe in them and they can do anything!

My Project

My students don't have much. They come to school without basic supplies. This donation will make a difference in the lives of my students. They will have materials they need to come to school each day and succeed. All these supplies will make their learning more fun. My students will use the seat sacks to hold their independent reading books. The dry erase markers, paper, crayons and head sets will be used in the various guided reading groups students will go to each and everyday. They will learn the importance of giving and appreciating things that are given to them. They will also learn the importance of being thankful and showing gratitude to the people who give things to them. Please help my students experience all of these wonderful things. Make coming to school more fun and enjoyable for them.
