My Students

My students are amazing! They have a love of learning and a love for each other! I would love to push them as far as they can go before they move on to kindergarten. Having them ready for Kindergarten, will give them a jump start to being a lifelong learner and someone who loves school!

My school is very diverse and it is wonderful!

There are so many different cultures, values and beliefs, it is incredible! I love spending time with the students, not just in my class, but the older kids as well; I learn a lot from them! Students as well as teachers look out for each other at school.

We are all team players and have each other's best interest at heart. I would love to be able to give my students everything to help them succeed inside and outside of the classroom. With these new materials, I can give them a better classroom and new experiences! We strive at becoming leaders in our building and even though we are the youngest at our school we are bright and determined to do our best possible work!

My Project

I am already thinking about August coming back to school and what my students will need to have a successful start to the school year. I love learning about my students and their families. Having families create an "All About Me" Poster for the classroom is a great way for myself and other students/families to learn about everyone in the class. It would be great to have some jump ropes for recess time. We would love some sidewalk chalk for recess as well. Students love to draw and it is a great way to practice writing words and writing their names! A new big book for our classroom library would be awesome! Big books are always exciting and I have had great success and interest from students in the 3 Billy Goats Gruff. Having 3 & 4 year olds in the classroom, accidents will happen especially at the beginning of the year and gloves make cleaning up a whole lot easier.
