it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students come to school every day excited to learn! They are inquisitive about the world around them. We strive to broaden their horizons and challenge their minds. We face many obstacles in our ICT classroom, from lack of classroom resources to wishing for those extra materials, that would take us to the next level in our educational journey, but we come together as a caring and responsible community, always mindful to respect each other.
We celebrate our differences while we learn and grow together.
My Project
We need a set of Chromebooks to help navigate these new times. Our district is set to open with a blended learning model in September. Our students will learn both at school and at home. In this remote learning world, it is essential for students to actively engage with interactive content. Students will only be in person at school 2 - 3 days a week. In order to be successful, each student must have a tech device at home. Unfortunately, many families do not have the resources to provide all children with a device. During Spring 2020 when schools were closed and remote learning started, our school was not able to provide all students with the technology they needed. Students requested devices from the District but not all requests were met.
We are now living in a completely digital world and our students need the appropriate devices to participate in remote and in-person learning.
These Chromebooks will allow my students to access their learning with ease. With these Chromebooks, they will have the opportunity to collaborate in both the distance learning and classroom setting.
