My Students

What are we in second grade? We are flexible and organized! My students walk into my classroom every day excited about the new adventures on which I will take them. They are eager to see what each new day will bring, and they are willing to try their very best in every activity they engage in.

My classroom is an inclusion classroom servicing Special Education students in a general education setting.

I have to use a lot of differentiation throughout my school day to be sure I am reaching and allowing each student access to the curriculum to the best of their ability. I spend hours modifying, creating, and altering assignments so that each student can be confident in his/her work and feel like they are able to meet the requirements for every assignment.

My Project

These materials will help students engage and have more hands on exsperiences in my classroom.They will use these tools for different activities through out all subjects. We will use them for small group and large group instruction. Having hands on materials allows students to better access the curriculum and lessons that are being taught. All the students in my class will have access to all of these supplies and tools. Some will be used for rewards also. We are so excited to get these tools in our classroom this year!
