This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My second grade students are lively, energetic, and eager to learn. They enjoy coming to school daily and welcome new learning experiences. They live in an urban neighborhood and attend a Title I school. The majority are second-language learners.

It’s time to go back to school and supplies are needed to help my students manage their materials.

I also need supplies to plan for and celebrate my students. The lesson planner will be used to record dynamic and inclusive lessons that I will do with my students. The over the chair pockets and giant timer are resources that will help my students organize and be responsible for materials on their desk and manage their time on task. The name tags, birthday certificates/stickers are resources that enable me to acknowledge and celebrate special events/days with my students. Some of the resources will be used on the first day of school to help welcome my students to the classroom.
