This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

At the end of the school year, I want my students to be successful at everything they do. I realized one of the barriers to them obtaining success is their crushing poverty. My students have a love of learning, but most don't have the necessary supplies for the beginning of the school year.

The families of my students struggle financially, are new to the country, struggling to learn the English language and/or finding employment.

My school is 100% free lunch schools since the majority of the students qualify for the state's free lunch program.

My Project

Your donation will provide school supplies such as notebooks to complete classroom work, folders to store classwork and pencils for my students. Other school supplies like glue sticks, scissors, markers and construction paper will help with art projects. It will also provide copy paper and toner to print classroom work, homework, and student projects.

Your donation will help my students start the new school year off right; with the school supplies they need for academic success.

This will help ensure that my students will not worry about supplies which will be conducive to their learning and future growth academically.
