My Project
I teach 27 bright and beautiful second graders in a high-needs area of New York. My students and I have been working intensively to get to grade level proficiency in reading. We set realistic reading goals and are working to make at least one year's growth. They have a goal-setting mindset.
Every one of my students is working hard to succeed.
We work at group tables so there is no desk space to get all cluttered. We store our notebooks and workbooks in seat sacks that attach to the back of each chair. The problem is that we need bigger seat sacks to hold all of our notebooks and other school supplies we use. These seat sacks will help save learning time because students will have their math and literacy materials at their fingertips!
We will use the folders and books baggies to transport our homework and books home every day! These materials will keep all materials safe and organized!
